Follow Application Process To apply For Grant

    Attend a Grant Application Workshop in March:

    There will be 2 sessions on Wednesday, March 13, 2019
    Times:
    - Session #1 9:00 a.m. – 11:30 a.m.
    - Session #2 1:00 p.m. – 3:30 p.m.
    Location: NMC Boardman Lake Campus University Center Room 7

    Participants will be introduced to Impact 100 Traverse City, learn about the five focus areas, find out about eligibility requirements, and be trained in the use of the electronic application.

    Organizations must limit participation to two attendees from each nonprofit.
    The attendees should include:
    1) The nonprofit’s finance person responsible for developing the proposed project’s budget; and,
    2) The individual responsible for writing the grant application.

    Step 3

    Submit a Grant Proposal

    Step 4

    Applications are reviewed:

    • Focus group committees, composed of volunteer members of Impact 100, read and score the applications including financial information submitted with the application, and perform site visits.
    • Members from each focus group committee select finalist(s) for each of the five focus areas. NonProfits are announced at the NonProfit Finalists Announcement. The Executive Summaries of the finalists selected (submitted within the grant application) are circulated to Impact 100 TC members prior to the Annual Meeting where grantees will be selected by the entire membership.
    • Representatives from each of the finalist organizations provide a short 10 minute presentation at the Annual Meeting. Presentation time subject to change and confirmed at the NonProfit Finalists Announcement.
    • Each Impact 100 TC member votes at the annual meeting, or via absentee ballot, to determine the year's grant recipient(s).

    Grants are Awarded at the Annual Member Celebration - October 23, 2019!

March 20, 2019 – 2019 Grant Application is open!
April 30, 2019 – Grant applications due by 6:00 pm EST
May/June/July – Grant Applications Reviewed
August – Impact TC Grant Committee will coordinate and complete site visits
September 17, 2019 – Finalists Selected – Meet the Finalists event at the Traverse City Golf and Country Club. 
Early October – Absentee Voting Occurs
October 23, 2019
Annual Meeting Ceremony
Finalists present; members vote
November/December
Grant Award contract agreement sent to grantee; signed and returned to Impact 100
