Many of our members are strong proponents of the collective giving model and choose to donate above the Advocate level.  Champion, Guardian and Steward levels are additional membership levels that will also allow us to cover expenses but also provide funds for Supported Memberships.  These levels also provide additional benefits by covering any charges for use of a credit card and include a ticket for the Annual Meeting.  Read more about these additional membership levels at Impact100 TC Support Us

For women who are interested in joining Impact100 TC but can’t make the full membership contribution, help is available through the Supported Membership Fund (formerly Share the Love). Learn more or apply for a Supported Membership.

While you can’t combine your membership with friends, we do offer the opportunity to apply for a Supported Membership.  The generosity of our members allows us to provide financial assistance for individuals who are not yet positioned to meet the $1000 membership fee.  Learn more or apply for a Supported Membership.  Tell your friends about it too!

The Impact100 model works because every member chooses their level of participation in our all-volunteer organization. From joining and voting at the annual meeting to grant review, informational events, or more. We welcome you and the time you decide you can participate. 

Each grant year, after a rigorous review process and finalists selection, the Impact100 TC membership rank votes to award grants to the nonprofit finalists. Funding is based on total membership in minimum increments of $100,000. Grant funding and project reports occur in a contractual and systematic way to ensure the grant project is being implemented as awarded by the membership.

Each person is limited to one vote per person per year. You can prepay your membership for subsequent years. Feeling generous? You can contribute a little extra to sponsor others to join Impact100 TC or to help cover our operational costs. Learn more about our membership levels here.

Our new Patron (for individuals) and Sponsor (for businesses) programs are set up to support us with cash donations.   Our Patron program will also allow a family member to donate in memory of another individual. While we are an all-volunteer organization, our costs for accounting, insurance, technology and marketing are significant.   These types of donations allow us to operate a sustainable organization which ensures each member’s $1000 membership is granted to non-profits.

Yes, your company can pay for your membership.  Your company can send a check to Impact 100 Traverse City, 526 W. Fourteenth Street, P.O. Box 264, Traverse City, MI  49684.  The check should indicate for whom the membership is being paid.  Reach out to info@impacttc.org for more information.

Yes, required minimum distributions (RMDs) are accepted for your membership and will not incur income taxes on the RMD. Impact100 TC is a 501(c)3 charitable organization. (Check with your accountant for your specific tax situation.) Qualified Charitable Distributions (QCDs) are acceptable as well. Please contact your IRA custodian as to whether your membership will be paid from your RMD or as a QCD.  Checks can be sent to Impact 100 Traverse City, 526 W. Fourteenth Street, P.O. Box 264, Traverse City, MI  49684.  Alternatively, an ACH transfer can be made.  Reach out to info@impacttc.org for more information.

Stock donation for membership has a time constraint and limitation depending on market fluctuations at the time of settlement. Impact100 TC is able to accept donations of stock to further our mission. Stock donations can be made through Edward Jones.  Reach out to info@impacttc.org for delivery instructions.
